From exploring the complexities of the human brain and building electronic circuits to investigating parasites, pollinators, and the geothermal wonders of Yellowstone, every grade level at Livingston Elementary recently engaged in a dynamic and unforgettable STEM Day experience.
Students rotated through a series of 20-minute, high-energy, hands-on learning stations led by an incredible team of graduate and undergraduate students, professors, and community partners. This impactful event was coordinated by Dr. Karagh Brummond, Director of the University of Wyoming’s Top-Tier Science Initiative Engagement and Outreach Program. Her leadership and vision helped bring this immersive STEM experience to life for our students.
We extend a heartfelt thank-you to our outstanding presenters from the University of Wyoming and our partner organizations, including Wyoming Ag in the Classroom, Wyoming Wildlife Federation, Cody Conservation District, National Bighorn Sheep Center, High Country Technology Consultants, and many more. Your enthusiasm, expertise, and commitment to education made this event truly exceptional.
STEM Day not only brought science, technology, engineering, and math to life, but also inspired the next generation of curious minds right here at Livingston.
Sincerely,
Allison Lewis, Principal
